Poem 102: Earth & Rain

I was having a tough time long long ago

and was glancing at the sky for a miracle

then one day the heavens opened

you fell fast with so much enthusiasm

touched me with an impeccable speed

yet with the most delicate of the touches

our unison transformed me

but I didn’t realise I was losing you

only to come back when

in need of a miracle
